Mark hails from the small Tennessee town of Rogersville. His journey to a music career started at an early age appearing on record while still a teenager. This early start has led Mark to playing with such famous acts as Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton,Ry Cooder, Bruce Hornsby, Loretta Lynn and Roseanne Cash. He is also a part of the Grand Ole Opery house band. As a record producer he has worked with Charlie Haden and Darin and Brooke Aldridge
